It was so good to be back in the gym on Saturday. I am planning to be back this week, knee scooter and all! I have missed you all. And I just got done with the programming for this week and I have to say, I am jealous that you all get to do these workouts.
Happy Birthday CFTP
We are turning 11 today! We were established 4/1/2012 and as of yesterday, we have been open for 11 years! Every year we do a birthday workout for the gym. This workout is "Bull"! So, tomorrow, get ready for some Bull!
The 2023 Quarter 1 retest/2023 Quarter 2 test is this week on the 4th! This Tuesday we will have the Dexabody Van at The Point and they will be testing all day! There is still a chunk in the morning that is not filled! If the times remaining don't work for you, please let me know asap and I will see what I can do to get them to open more spots.
The apparel has all arrived at my house. Now the key is getting it all done as soon as possible now that I am able to wander about a bit. They'll be done soon and then we will be rolling out a spring/summer pre-order with some "old" new designs! Maybe we will take a vote.
Final Thoughts and April Competition
I was chatting with the Masters Quarterfinal Qualifiers yesterday and something came up. We are so lucky to have a place and a group of people like we have at The Point. Just being out for the past 10 days reiterated to me the importance it is to have like-minded individuals who care and who want the best for you and your health. During the pandemic we saw the gym get taken away from us and depression and anxiety skyrocketed amongst us. Going to the gym is more than just becoming your best physical self but also your best self overall. The daily struggle of the workouts and the failures and the successes help mold us into better people.
I am so grateful for you all and for your consistent attendance at The Point. When you don't come in, it is noticed and you are missed. I look forward to seeing all my friends at the gym everyday.
With this in mind, starting tomorrow, I want to reward those who are coming most consistently. In the month of April there are 25 days (Monday through Saturday) total gym days. Every gym member that attends a minimum of 16 times will be placed into a randomizer and I will choose out 2 winners for brand new shoes! These shoes can be No Bulls, Nikes or Reeboks!
